Mineralogy Lab
The test center is capable of conducting extensive
mineralogical studies on the ore samples. Major services of the mineralogy lab
are comprised of (but not limited to) the following items:
- Thin and polished section preparation
- Complete mineralogical studies using polarized
microscope, stereoscope and XRD instrumental machine
- Grain size and particle size identification
- Mineral liberation and locking analysis per size
fraction
- Standard SEM analysis
- Detailed identification of iron ore minerals and other
elements (Si, Al, P and S)
- Determination of pellet structure and mineralogy
